Dubai City Tour

Upon arrival of your cruise, our guide will be waiting for you at the Dubai port, identified by the Shore2Shore sign.

Dubai is the second largest Emirate of the seven that make up the country and is considered the commercial capital of the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East. The city is popularly known as the "City of Merchants." It is a unique blend of East and West, a fascinating mix of oriental charm and western modernity. During the excursion, we will be able to admire both the historic part of the city and the impressive architectural feats of the modern city.

We will leave Dubai port by bus, accompanied by our guide. During the tour, we will visit the following points of interest: Dubai Frame, the Jumeirah Mosque (stop for photos), the Jumeirah Mosque is one of the main monuments of the city of Dubai. This medieval Fatimid-style construction is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture.

We will cross the Dubai Canal and pass near the Burj Al Arab hotel (the most luxurious and famous hotel in the world, the only one with a 7-star rating, shaped like a sailing vessel).

We continue our bus ride until we reach the Mall Of The Emirates (panoramic view from the bus), one of the largest shopping centers in Dubai, where the famous ski slope is located.

We will continue our visit by entering the magnificent Dubai Mall, a shopping center that houses the Burj Khalifa tower, 828 meters tall, the tallest building ever constructed by humans.

At the end of the visit, we will have approximately one hour to discover/explore the surroundings of the DUBAI MALL accompanied by our guide. Here we will have the opportunity to see the fountain show, provided we coincide with these show times: night shows from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm every 30 minutes.

We will return to the bus and pass in front of the Museum of the Future for a photo stop, then we will go to the old city of Dubai. We will walk through the area and arrive at Dubai Creek, a natural river that extends about 10 kilometers inland. This geographical feature marked the starting point in the construction of the city, dividing Dubai into Deira and Bur Dubai, the two historic neighborhoods of the city. We will cross the river in a typical boat, called an Abra, to visit on foot the gold, spice, and leather markets.

At the end of the excursion, we will return to the port for the farewell.

•  REMARKS

  • Easy Level/Panoramic/Cultural.
  • It is mandatory to wear appropriate clothing in the places of worship that will be visited.
  • Dress code accepted in the Mosque. Please note that women cannot wear shorts, white, transparent pants or tights. Clothing must have long sleeves and it is mandatory to wear a headscarf. Our staff does not provide clothing to lend in case you do not bring any. 
  • Some Mosques lend clothing free of charge to visitors to allow entry, but only to individual visitors; groups with a guide must wear appropriate clothing and always respect the dress code.
  • Comfortable footwear is recommended.
  • People with reduced mobility who use wheelchairs must be accompanied by another person who can assist them. We kindly ask that foldable wheelchairs be used, as buses do not have lifts or ramps. Shore2Shore is not responsible if the client does not inform about their situation at the time of booking.
  • Mosques will be closed on Fridays as well as on Muslim calendar holidays with variable dates and the following dates: January 1, August 6, November 19, and December 30.
  • For Dubai enthusiasts or those arriving by plane during the day who cannot do the daytime visit, we also offer a Dubai sunset excursion to complete the day in Dubai with a magnificent spectacle in itself. 
  • Not compatible on the same day with the Dubai sunset tour due to high temperatures and the duration of the excursions. Choose Dubai City and Dubai sunset on different days.
