Upon your cruise ship’s arrival at the port of Puerto del Rosario, our assistant will be waiting for you, identified with the Shore2Shore sign, to begin this excursion designed to discover some of the most representative landscapes in northern Fuerteventura.
Our first stop will be the Corralejo Dunes Natural Park, one of the island’s most spectacular natural settings. This immense sea of white sand, in contrast with the blue of the Atlantic Ocean, offers a unique landscape. We will have free time to walk among the dunes, enjoy the protected environment, and take unforgettable photos.
We will continue the route to El Cotillo, a picturesque fishing village known for its relaxed atmosphere and natural beauty. We will take a guided walk through its town center and coastal area, where you can admire its natural lagoons, small coves, and the distinctive volcanic landscape that characterizes this part of the island.
The excursion then heads inland to visit La Oliva, a town of great historical importance. Here we will visit the Church of Our Lady of Candelaria and learn about the key role this municipality played as the former seat of the colonels of Fuerteventura, key figures in the island’s history.
After a day combining nature, history and tradition, we will return comfortably to the port of Puerto del Rosario, with sufficient time before your cruise ship’s departure.
The order of the places to be visited may change without prior notice due to possible contingencies (ship arrival time, opening hours of places of interest, etc.).
