Panoramas of Palma and Valldemossa

Shore excursion from port of Palma de Mallorca, Spain

  • Duration 4h
  • Activity level low

What you'll do

Upon arrival of your cruise, pickup by our guide at the port, identified with the Shore2Shore sign.

Departure by bus towards the Bellver Castle, where we will make a brief photo stop to admire the impressive views that give this place its name. The name Bellver comes from the old Catalan bell veure, meaning beautiful view.

We will continue by bus to the Breakwater to visit the Palma Cathedral, the most emblematic historic monument of the city. Our guide will provide explanations outside and each guest will have the option to enter if they wish. It is worth visiting the interior to admire the works carried out by Antonio Gaudí from 1904 to 1914 and to be able to take photos and videos of this masterpiece. Those who do not wish to enter will have approximately 30 minutes of free time. After the cathedral visit, we will return to the bus to head to Valldemossa, located about 17 kilometers from Palma.

Valldemossa is a very charming village known for its most visited monument, The Charterhouse of Nazareth (exterior visit), which is also famous thanks to the stay of a very famous couple of the time: Frederic Chopin and George Sand. We will enjoy free time in Valldemossa to eat the local specialty (not included in the price): THE POTATO COCA, stroll around, or do some shopping.

At the end of the excursion, return to the port and farewell.
