What you'll do
Upon arrival of your cruise, the guide will be waiting for you at the port of Arrecife, identified with the Shore2Shore sign.
We will begin our excursion heading southwest of the island, making a first panoramic stop at Las Salinas de Janubio, one of the most unique landscapes of Lanzarote. These salt flats, still in operation, are part of the island’s cultural and natural heritage.
Next, we will head to the impressive Timanfaya National Park, where we will enjoy an unforgettable experience. We will observe the geothermal demonstrations at the Islote de Hilario, where the heat from beneath the earth becomes visible, and we will take the famous Route of the Volcanoes, a bus tour through the heart of this unique landscape shaped by the volcanic eruptions of the 18th century.
From there, we will move on to La Geria, the wine-growing area par excellence, recognized for its unique cultivation system in the world, adapted to the volcanic terrain. We will have the opportunity to get to know this distinctive environment and, weather permitting, enjoy a small tasting of Lanzarote wine.
On the way back to the port, we will pass by the emblematic Monument to the Farmer, a work by César Manrique, which pays tribute to the effort of Lanzarote’s farmers to work these difficult lands. We will be able to admire it from the bus.
