What you'll do
Pick-up at the port of Cádiz by our guide or coordinator, duly identified with the Shore2Shore sign.
We will begin our excursion with a panoramic tour by bus around the walled area, passing by Cuesta de las Calesas, Plaza de España, Murallas de San Carlos, Alameda Apodaca, Parque Genovés, Baluarte, La Caleta Beach, the Castles, Campo del Sur, the Cathedrals, the Roman Theatre, Puertas de Tierra, and Plaza de San Juan de Dios, where we will make a stop to get off the bus.
We will then continue with a walking tour through the historic centre, entering the Barrio del Pópulo.
During the walk, we will see Plaza de la Catedral, Calle Compañía, Plaza de las Flores, Calle Ancha, Plaza de San Antonio, Plaza de Mina, and the exteriors of some emblematic monuments such as the Torre Tavira, the Museo de las Cortes, the Oratorio de San Felipe Neri, and the Museum of Archaeology and Fine Arts, among others.
Participants who wish may visit the Cathedral on their own by purchasing the entrance ticket directly at the box office.
On visits taking place on Sundays, the Cathedral can only be visited between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
We will end the excursion with the return to the port and farewell.
