What you'll do
Upon arrival at the port, your Shore2Shore guide will be waiting for you with an identification sign to begin a relaxed tour of this fascinating Portuguese city.
Designed especially for those who prefer not to walk too much, this half-day experience will allow you to comfortably discover the main gems of Porto.
We will start with a panoramic tour along the Douro River coast, where we will make a brief stop to capture the beauty of the picturesque landscape. Along the way, we will admire the iconic façade of the Clérigos Church and Tower, an 18th-century baroque gem.
We will pass by the majestic Porto Cathedral, a 12th-century Romanesque building, and stop at its viewpoint to enjoy a spectacular view of this city with over 1,000 years of history.
Our panoramic tour will take us beyond Batalha Square and the lively Rua de Santa Catarina. Then, we will venture into the heart of the city to admire the impressive architecture of the City Hall and stroll through the charming Ribeira District, one of the oldest and most colorful areas of Porto.
Following the Douro riverbank, we will pass the emblematic Iron Bridge and walk along the river shore, where the famous Port wine cellars are located, living witnesses to a centuries-old tradition.
At the end of this enriching panoramic tour, we will return to the port to say goodbye, wishing you a happy remainder of your journey.
