What you'll do
Upon arrival of your cruise, our Shore2Shore guide or coordinator will welcome you at the port, identified with a sign, to begin this exciting excursion.
Our adventure begins in Kristiansund, known as the capital of Nordmøre and famous for its tradition in dried cod production. Spread over three interconnected islands, this city combines history, culture, and a strategic position as a base for maritime activities in central Norway.
We head towards Averøy Island crossing the impressive Atlantic Ocean Tunnel, a 6-kilometer underwater passage that reaches 250 meters below sea level. Averøy is known for its archaeological wealth and its ties to the legendary Viking king Harald Hårfagre.
On the way to the iconic Atlantic Ocean Road, keep your eyes open to spot seals, seabirds, and, hopefully, some whales. This spectacular route, considered one of the National Tourist Routes of Norway, connects islands and reefs through 8.2 kilometers of bridges, including the famous Storseisundet Bridge, offering unparalleled ocean views and a unique example of engineering.
Our journey continues to Farstadsanden Beach, with its serene beauty and coastal landscapes, before arriving at the charming fishing village of Bud. Here we will make a stop to enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and the Bjørnsund islands, perfect for capturing unforgettable memories.
Returning to Kristiansund, we will follow the Frænafjord and Kornstadfjord fjords, winding through picturesque hills and charming coastal landscapes, while passing through the villages of Elnesvågen and Eide. We will conclude our excursion by traveling the innovative Krifast road connection, which includes underwater tunnels and spectacular bridges, before returning to the port.
Thank you for trusting Shore2Shore. We hope this experience is as unforgettable as its landscapes!
