North Cape, where the world meets the horizon

Upon your arrival, our bus will be waiting for you at the port, identified with the Shore2Shore sign. Today we will head to a fascinating place: North Cape, a destination that sparks the imagination with its extreme latitude of 71° and its impressive 307 meters above sea level.

We will board the bus at the scheduled time for a scenic transfer of approximately 45-50 minutes to this iconic location, also known as Knyskanes. The excursion is not guided, so you will have the freedom to explore at your own pace.

Once we arrive, you can enjoy the North Cape Visitor Center, a fully equipped building welcoming travelers. Here you will find a cinema with a large screen where the free documentary “NORDKAPP” is continuously shown, revealing the life and landscapes of North Cape throughout all seasons of the year. Additionally, you will have at your disposal a souvenir shop and a spacious restaurant to grab a bite and relax.

A photo in front of the iconic Globe Sculpture is a must, a universal symbol of North Cape and a testament to its unique location. Strolling around this area offers an unparalleled experience: steep cliffs, waves crashing powerfully, and a wild nature where wind and cold are constant companions. The vegetation is minimal, reflecting the harshness of the climate at these latitudes.

We recommend bringing warm clothing, as wind and low temperatures are common on this impressive promontory.

At the agreed time, we will return to the bus to head back to the port of Honningsvåg, taking with us the memory of a unique experience at the end of the world.
