Briksdal Glacier

Upon arrival at the port, your Spanish-speaking guide, identified by the Shore2Shore sign, will be waiting to begin an exciting excursion through the most stunning landscapes of Norway.

We start our route in the picturesque village of Hellesylt, where we will quickly admire the spectacular Hellesylt waterfall. Its waters fall forcefully between rugged rocks, creating an impressive view that marks the beginning of our journey.

We head towards Hornindalsvatnet lake, known for being the deepest in Europe, with a depth of 514 meters. Its calm waters and mountainous surroundings offer a scene of serenity and unparalleled natural beauty.

From there, we will continue to the Nordfjord fjord, passing charming villages such as Stryn, Loen, and Olden. The latter, nestled at the foot of the fjord, is a typical locality offering an impressive view of the surrounding valley.

We will proceed through the majestic Olden valley until we reach Briksdal mountain. A little further ahead, we will arrive at the spectacular Briksdal glacier, one of the arms of the Jostedal glacier, the longest in continental Europe.

Here we will have the opportunity to marvel at the beauty of the glacier and its natural surroundings. The view of the waterfalls and streams descending from the mountains is simply unforgettable.

After enjoying this unique place, we will have free time to eat (lunch not included) and rest, or to further explore the surroundings of the glacier.

With hearts full of unforgettable memories, we will return to Hellesylt, where our excursion will conclude at the port.
