Amsterdam, treasures and magic

Upon arrival at the port of Rotterdam or Ijmuiden, our Shore2Shore guide will be waiting for you with an identification sign to begin this dynamic excursion to one of the most fascinating cities in Europe.

After a comfortable bus ride, we will arrive in Amsterdam, where two additional guides will greet you to divide the group into smaller teams of no more than 15 people per guide. This arrangement will allow for a more personalized and intimate experience.

We will start with a 2-hour walking tour through the charming old town of the city. During the tour, we will discover iconic places such as:

• Central Station, a majestic gateway to the city.
• The Church of St. Nicholas, patron saint of sailors.
• The famous Dam Square, the vibrant heart of Amsterdam.
• The Royal Palace and the New Church.
• The National Monument, in tribute to those fallen in World War II.
• The historic De Wallen district.
• The Nieuwmarkt, with its traditional watchtower.
• Spui square and the peaceful Beguine Court.
• The colorful Flower Market, a visual feast of tulips and other bulbs.

At the end of this walking tour, we will reunite with the rest of the group to board a private Shore2Shore cruise through the famous Amsterdam canals. For one hour, we will sail through the historic 17th-century canal ring, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the water, we will enjoy the most iconic views of the city:

• Elegant merchant houses with ornate facades.
• The picturesque churches dotting the skyline.
• The emblematic Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge).
• The serene course of the Amstel River.

Amsterdam was designed to be admired from its canals, and this cruise will allow us to discover its beauty in a unique and relaxed way.

After this unforgettable experience, we will return by bus to the port of Rotterdam or Ijmuiden to say goodbye and wish you a pleasant return to your cruise.

• Comfortable footwear is recommended.
• This excursion is NOT suitable for people with reduced mobility and/or those who require the use of a wheelchair. Neither the buses nor the boats used for the canal ride are wheelchair accessible.
• We will have one guide per group of 15 people. According to local Tourism law, the guide can only lead a maximum number of people at a time.

Your guide will be waiting with the Shore2Shore poster at the terminal. There is very little distance between the ship and the terminal.
