What you'll do
Our Shore2Shore Excursions guide will meet you at the Port of Rotterdam where we board an air-conditioned coach to take a guided tour of the remarkable areas of Rotterdam.
From there we will drive to the windmills of Kinderdijk, the beautiful city of Delft, and then visit Rotterdam and its oldest district Delfshaven.
Kinderdijk, located just 25 kms. from Rotterdam is known worldwide for its 19 mills declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a wonderful postcard images.Delft, Netherlands old town founded in the thirteenth century and known as the royal city. Inside the Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) is the pantheon of the Dutch Royal Family, he emphasizes his tower with 108.75 meters, the second highest in the Netherlands.
We invite you to stroll through the market and among its beautiful canals.
Then, in Rotterdam, you have the opportunity to see the largest port in Europe, which, moreover, between 1962 and 2004 was also the busiest port in the world.
Delfshaven is a picturesque harbor district of Rotterdam. With its old shipyards and warehouses will remind us the past that the Second World War almost completely wiped out. The highlights are the historical museum, the replica warship of XVIII century and the Church of the Pilgrim Fathers, where pilgrims gathered before leaving to America in 1620.
We will then return to the Port of Rotterdam so you can re-join your ship for onward passage to your next port of call.
