Upon arrival at the port of Rotterdam or Ijmuiden, our Shore2Shore guide will be waiting for you with an identification sign to start this dynamic excursion to one of the most fascinating cities in Europe.
During the journey, you will discover the origin of the name Netherlands and how the Dutch have fought against the water for decades to increase the size of their small country by almost 20%, the history of Amsterdam’s formation, and the importance of the Dutch Golden Age. After a comfortable bus ride, we will arrive in Amsterdam, where you will enjoy 3.5 hours of free time to explore the city at your own pace, strolling through the historic 17th-century canal ring, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, streets, squares, cafés, or the city’s most famous neighborhood, the ‘Red Light District’.
Our guide will accompany you to the door of Central Station so you can enjoy iconic places such as:
