Tour of Agadir

Shore excursion from port of Abu Dhabi, Morocco

  • Duration 4h
  • Activity level low

What you'll do

After your cruise arrival, we will begin our excursion accompanied by our guide, identified with the Shore2Shore sign, to discover the charms of Agadir and its surroundings.

Agadir, whose Berber name means “fortified village,” is located in the southern region of Morocco. This modern city, with barely 100,000 inhabitants, stands out for its privileged location surrounded by the Anti-Atlas Mountains, the Sahara Desert, natural parks, and beautiful sandy beaches that have made it a renowned tourist destination. With over 300 days of sunshine per year and 10 kilometers of beaches protected from the wind, Agadir is ideal for enjoying a perfect climate and unique landscapes.

Our tour will take us through the city’s most remarkable districts. We will visit the city center, where the New Talborjt colonial neighborhood is home to the beautiful Olhao Gardens and the Agadir Memory Museum, which commemorates the devastating 1960 earthquake.

We will continue along the main avenues, making a stop at the Amazigh Museum, which houses more than 900 exhibits related to Berber culture, including collector’s coins and its most iconic treasure: the Massa necklace.

From the city center, we will head to the port and enjoy the spectacular views of the bay from the heights of the Kasbah, a perfect spot to capture the visual essence of Agadir.

Finally, we will travel to Inezgane, a lively town where the Berbers of the Souss region carry out their commercial activities. There, we will explore its bustling market, famous for its souks, silver jewelry, and colorful food stalls.

At the end of the excursion, we will return to the Port of Agadir for embarkation.

We hope you enjoy this unique experience and thank you for choosing Shore2Shore!
