Valletta and Mdina

Upon the arrival of your cruise, our guide will be waiting at the port, identified with the Shore2Shore sign, to begin an unforgettable tour of the most emblematic places in Malta.

We will sit down and enjoy our guide’s introduction to Malta, a Mediterranean gem, while taking in the picturesque surroundings during the tour.

We will make a brief stop at the Upper Barrakka Gardens, the most famous viewpoint in Valletta. We will take the opportunity to capture stunning photographs of the Grand Harbour and the Fort St. Angelo, while our guide shares fascinating stories about Malta’s rich maritime tradition.

We will stroll through the charming streets of Valletta to admire the exterior of the Co-Cathedral of St. John. We will marvel at its imposing Baroque architecture and discover the history of this temple and the Knights of St. John, who left a profound mark on Malta’s past.

We will enjoy a leisurely walk back to the bus, soaking in the vibrant architecture and lively atmosphere of the city. Next, we will make a brief stop at the famous Ta’ Qali Crafts Village, where we will have time for a restroom break and to browse among unique Maltese crafts such as lace, blown glass, ceramics, and traditional souvenirs.

We will continue our tour towards Mdina, the ancient capital of Malta. Along the way, our guide will tell us interesting stories about the island’s medieval era and the legends surrounding its fortified cities.

We will enter the so-called “Silent City”, wandering its narrow cobbled streets and majestic squares. We will admire the exterior of the magnificent Mdina Cathedral and enjoy panoramic views from the walls, while learning about its fascinating history and architectural wonders.

We will conclude this unforgettable experience with a scenic drive back to our ship, taking with us memories of Malta’s history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes.

• The cathedral is closed on Sundays; visits on that day will be exterior only.

This excursion will last 4.5 hours starting from 01/01/2026 (including a stop at the Ta’ Qali Crafts Village), in 2025 it will remain 4 hours.

• Passengers should wear appropriate clothing to visit religious sites.

• Persons with reduced mobility using wheelchairs must be accompanied by someone who can assist them. We kindly ask that foldable wheelchairs be used, as buses do not have lifts or ramps. Shore2Shore is not responsible if the client does not inform about their situation at the time of booking.

DISEMBARKATION INFORMATION

Once you arrive at the port, please walk towards the exit of the passenger terminal. Our guide and the bus will be waiting for you outside the terminal.
