What you'll do
Upon arrival of your cruise, our guide will be waiting for you at the port with a Shore2Shore sign to begin this fascinating excursion through the capital of Sardinia.
We will start with a panoramic bus tour that will take us to the emblematic Sanctuary of Bonaria, built in the 14th century by the Aragonese, where we will enjoy an interior visit to learn about its rich history.
Our next stop will be Monte Urpino, one of the best viewpoints in the city, where you can enjoy spectacular views of Cagliari, the coastline, and the famous rocky hill known as the Devil’s Saddle. Nature makes its presence felt with the impressive sight of the pink flamingos that inhabit the area.
The tour continues to the medieval district of Castello, the historic heart of the city, surrounded by imposing walls. Here we will admire the Tower of San Pancrazio, the Elephant Tower, the Bastion of Saint Remy, the Lion’s Gate, and the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria from the 17th century, where we will enjoy an interior visit. We will stroll through its charming narrow streets and enjoy terraces with magnificent views over the coast of Sardinia.
At the end of the guided visit, you will have free time to explore the city on your own before returning to the port for departure.
