What you'll do

Pick-up at the port by our guide.

Our excursion today is the most popular tour in the city of Reykjavík.
We will begin with a visit to Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir), Gullfoss Waterfall, the Geysir hot spring, and the Haukadalur geothermal area.

We will discover some of Iceland’s must-see locations; nature as we have rarely seen it before: lava fields, waterfalls, whispering geysers, hot springs, craters, and unique geothermal phenomena typical of this unreal environment.

Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir) is located about 50 kilometers from Reykjavík; a place of incredible importance for its landscapes, culture, and history.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also a key place in the history of Iceland, as the world’s first parliament met there for the first time.
Surrounded by crystal-clear water fissures between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates, this park is a truly majestic place covered with green moss and wildflowers.

We will then head towards Geysir, where vibrant colors, bubbling mud pools, and erupting hot springs await us.
Geysir gave its name to all the geysers in the world and was the first geyser ever discovered. The Strokkur Geyser will offer us a spectacular natural show. Together with Thingvellir National Park and Gullfoss (our next stop), they form the route known as the Golden Circle.

The highlight of our excursion will undoubtedly be Gullfoss Waterfall, the “Golden Waterfall”, a 32-meter-high glacial cascade that will leave us with unforgettable images and memories.

Return to the port for farewell at the end of the excursion.
