We will meet a colossal medieval knight, it is about the sculpture of Rolando. According to legend, Bremen will maintain its independence while this large statue remains standing. Just in case, the local authorities keep a replica of the monument in a place in custody ...
As pearls in a string are lined glued to each other the houses of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries in the oldest neighborhood of Bremen, the Schnoor neighborhood.
We will continue to discover the traditional Böttcherstraße, a 110 meters long integral work of art, built in the 20s with numerous shops, restaurants, museums, workshops and the carillon and St. Petri Cathedral (outside visit), an evangelical church -luterana with more than 1200 years of history. In the early Gothic style of the 13th century, the crypts are the oldest parts.
Bremen is also known worldwide for being the city of the Musicians of Bremen, the fairy tale of the Grimm Brothers.
