Aix-En-Provence

Shore excursion from port of Marseille, France

  • Duration 5h
  • Activity level medium

What you'll do

Upon arrival of your cruise, pick-up at the port by our guide, identified with the Shore2Shore sign.

After a journey of approximately 40 minutes from the port of Marseille, we will arrive at Aix-en-Provence where we will visit the Saint-Sauveur Cathedral (11th to 13th century) and its gardens, which date back to the 12th century.

We will take a beautiful walk through the historic center (about an hour and a half) before arriving at the famous Mazarine District. A residential neighborhood created for the bourgeoisie of Aix en Provence by the brother of Cardinal Mazarin in the latter half of the 17th century.

The visit ends with some free time for shopping, as in the pedestrian streets of Aix you can find wonderful Provençal craft shops.

Return to the port and farewell after the excursion ends.
