Visit to Monaco and Monte Carlo

Meeting at the port with our guide identified by the Shore2Shore sign.

Our first visit will be to the Principality of Monaco.

We will depart from the port of Villefranche or Cannes and begin the visit from Monaco, and with a walking tour we will discover the beautiful and narrow streets, pass in front of the residences of Princesses Caroline and Stéphanie, stop in front of the "Our Lady of the Immaculate" Cathedral where we can visit the tombs of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III; since speaking inside the Cathedral is prohibited, the guides will explain it from the outside and the entrance (free) will be open; and finally we will arrive at the Royal Palace (exterior visit), the current residence of Prince Albert and where you can enjoy a splendid view of the Principality as well as see the F1 circuit from above.

We will have free time to explore the area freely and on the way back to the bus parking lot we will pass by the extraordinary and exotic botanical garden, beloved by Princess Grace, which houses millions of plant species.

We will pick up our bus and continue towards Monte Carlo passing by the Yacht Club, where countless luxury yachts are moored, and touring part of the F1 Grand Prix circuit. We will go up to the Casino, a wonderful example of Baroque architecture, masterfully decorated with frescoes and sculptures, and the center of social life in the Principality of Monaco. Right next to it we will admire the Hotel de Paris and Café de Paris.

There will be free time to discover the capital of wealth, visit the luxurious boutiques, and undoubtedly, you will not miss the numerous luxury cars that regularly pass through the Principality. If you wish, you can visit the interior of the Casino with our guide (tickets are sold on site, please contact the guide directly).

Return to the port for boarding.

• IMPORTANT INFORMATION: AT VILLEFRANCHE PORT, THERE ARE STAIRS TO REACH THE PARKING.
• This excursion is NOT SUITABLE for people with reduced mobility, or those who require the use of a wheelchair due to uneven terrain. The transportation for this tour is not adapted.
• Comfortable footwear is recommended.
• If, due to unforeseen circumstances, Shore2Shore offers a replacement service, there will be no price modification compared to the rate contracted for the initial service, and therefore, no full or partial refund will be offered.

DISEMBARKING INFORMATION VILLEFRANCHE

PLEASE note that the cruise ship will not dock at the port, it will anchor outside of the port.

An assisting ferry will be used to take passengers from cruise to land and back. This assisting ferries have a 60-80 passenger capacity. One assisting ferry leaves every 10-15 minutes and takes about 25 minutes to dock at port.

PLEASE try to get to the port as soon as possible to avoid tour delays, we recommend to coordinate ahead of time with onboard cruise line personnel to guarantee space on first ferry.

DISEMBARKING INFORMATION CANNES

Our guide will be waiting for you outside of the port terminal in the PARKING QUAI LAUBEUF identified with a sign.

Please do not attempt to find the bus by yourself, just wait at the meeting location. Please locate our personnel and they will guide you to the bus.

Punctuality is very much appreciated since port police only allows a 30-minutes window to pick up passengers at the parking location.
