Bruges city tour

Upon arrival of your cruise and at the scheduled time, the guide will be waiting for you at the port, identified with the Shore2Shore sign.

From the port, we will head to the coach parking area to take our transport to Bruges, one of the most charming and romantic cities in Europe.

Located in the northwest of Belgium, just 90 km from Brussels, Bruges is the capital of the province of West Flanders and a true medieval treasure that captivates travellers from all over the world. Upon arrival, we will begin a walking tour through its historic centre, as coaches are not allowed to enter the city centre. This will allow us to fully enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of its streets.

During the walk, we will discover some of the most emblematic monuments of Bruges, such as the Beguinage, the Lake of Love, the Church of Our Lady, the Burg Square, the Basilica of the Holy Blood, the Cathedral of St. Salvator, the Town Hall, and the famous Market Square. Each of these sites has a fascinating history that immerses us in the rich cultural heritage of this medieval city.

Bruges is known for its stunning canals, cobbled streets, and gabled buildings, earning it the nickname “The Venice of the North.” During the tour, we will not only admire its monuments but also enjoy the delightful scenery all around us, while being charmed by the city’s hidden corners filled with shops offering the finest Belgian chocolate.

The tour will continue with a relaxing 30-minute cruise along the famous canals of Bruges. Sailing through these waters will offer us a unique perspective of the city, allowing us to appreciate the elegance of its medieval architecture from a completely different viewpoint.

At the end of the excursion, you will have free time to further explore the city, go shopping, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Bruges before returning to the port of Zeebrugge, concluding this unforgettable day.

• This excursion is not suitable for people with reduced mobility and/or those requiring the use of a wheelchair. Neither the coaches nor the boats used for the canal cruise are adapted for wheelchairs.

DISEMBARKATION INFORMATION

• If the ship docks at "Zeestation", you must walk to the port exit.
• If the ship docks at "Zweedse Kaai", you must take the courtesy shuttle bus to exit the port.

• We recommend that passengers check their berth location before arrival to avoid confusion.
